Your Funds Are Protected by NCUA...
The NCUSIF, National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, provides all members of federally insured credit unions with $250,000 in coverage for each individual account. These accounts include regular shares, share drafts, and share certificates.
All members of federally insured credit unions have options for coverage that is separate from and in addition to the coverage available to their individual accounts. NCUA has a Share Insurance Estimator on its internet site to help members better understand the protection offered by NCUSIF. This resource is available at the link: http://webapps.ncua.gov/ins.

LPEFCU Visa Debit and Credit cards now have enhanced security protection. Your account is currently being protected by reviewing your activity after transactions are approved. We attempt to contact you if a transaction falls outside of your normal spending pattern. As criminals become more sophisticated, the need to protect your account during a transaction could prevent fraud immediately. In some instances you may be declined at the merchant if the activity is considered extremely suspicious. With a simple call to member service, 800-433-0505, or your credit union, 800-816-1212, we will evaluate the transaction and allow you to continue shopping immediately.
